Hey, Guys!  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!

I’m just now getting around to writing this post.  I’ve been so busy like all of you with the traveling, family gatherings and eating of course!  Man!  I feel like I’ve eaten my weight in cakes, ham and everything in between!  I love this time of year as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and all the togetherness that it brings.  Which is why I decided to host a Christmas dinner party again this year.  I used a lot of things I already had.  Afterall, it was more about togetherness than exceeding my December spending budget and I really enjoy finding things around the house to use for special occasions.

Here’s my table setting.  I just mixed and matched dishes that I already had, with red glasses (with the exception of 2 that I got from Marshall’s) that I already had and used a rectangular table that I already had.  You get the point.  And you’ll notice that some of the chairs are from the patio!  I use the same colors outside that I do inside so in a pinch these worked great and still kept within the color scheme.  Notice my 3D snowflake that I teased you with in the “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” post!  I love it!  Once again, Target.

I had the privilege of some additional guests this year and yep…their tutus!

Now I know you guys are thinking “I hope she doesn’t bring up those Target Christmas balls again”…but seriously, look at how much Arin is enjoying these.  She knows good taste in holiday decor when she sees it ; )  And how adorable is her outfit?

Guess who else was there?  It’s Blair Bear from “NOT All PINK for this baby girl”!!  And what do ya know.  She got the memo from Arin and wore her tutu too!

How adorable.

If you could see how many pictures we took trying to get the two of them to smile and look in the same direction you would crack up.  It was at least 40.  It never happen.  Blaire is checking out the fireplace in this one.  Pretty sure she was thinking “does anyone else notice that there’s a fire in the living room?!”

This is one of the best ones (even though they both aren’t looking into the camera) and of course shows off their tutus.

Thanks, girls for coming!

Now on to the 7 women….

And one of the funniest moments that night.

You have to love when a friend calls and asks you if they can bring something and this is what shows up…classic!

Me: “Umm, what happen here?”

Her: “I had to make sure they were done”

I was still grateful lol

All in all we had a great time. Dinner turned out pretty good (although, I admit I had a small mishap while cooking the rice) and the Winter Sangria was a hit!  I’ll have to remember that for next year.  Of course when I showed my mom these pictures she reminded me that I needed a GLASS pitcher.  Yes, I do know that, but I had to use what I had!  Desserts were yummy too…

I really appreciated wrapping up the year with my girlfriends. We had a good time.  Thanks again for coming! It made me reflect on all the changes that have occurred over the year and last few years for that matter.  Times are a changin, but real friendships with those near and far stay true!
